It is the only protestant church in Transylvania, that was founded by Hungarians. The church became independent in the XVI th Century. With its humanism, the vindication of religious
freedom and its progressive spirit, the Unitarian church can claim its own famous followers like Orbán Balázs, Isaac Newton, Paul Newman and Charles Dickens. This church was being built between 1906 and 1908 with the help of the neighbouring Unitarian villages.
